Rent Retro!

Why not take one of our Retro Mountain Bikes for a spin?

Vintage bikes are what we’re all about, so why not experience the trails on a classic?

Our Retro Mountain Bikes date from the golden era of mountain biking, when steel frames and rigid forks ruled the trails. They’re simple, lightweight and incredibly fun to ride, whether you’re cruising along the lakes, exploring forest tracks or tackling some alpine climbs.

Every bike in our fleet has been carefully hand-picked and fully overhauled in our workshop to ensure it’s reliable, safe and ready for adventure. No two bikes are exactly alike, meaning that each has its own unique story and personality.

Choosing retro isn’t just fun—it’s sustainable too. By restoring and maintaining these fantastic bikes, we’re giving them a second life and proving that great bikes never go out of style.

If you’re looking for a unique riding experience, want to turn heads wherever you go, and enjoy cycling the way it used to be, our Retro Mountain Bikes are the perfect choice.

Road Bikes

Explore the spectacular roads of the Jungfrau Region on one of our road bikes. Our fleet is divided into two categories:

  • Class A bikes are carbon models equipped with hydraulic disc brakes, offering superior braking performance, comfort and confidence on long Alpine descents.
  • Class B bikes are reliable aluminium models with traditional rim brakes, providing an excellent value option that’s perfect for exploring the region and tackling the local climbs.

All of our road bikes are geared for the mountains and include a saddle bag with spare tube, tyre levers and a mini pump.

For pedals we can fit either flat, Look Keo, Look Delta, Shimano SPD or SPD-SL. Or feel free to bring your own and we can fit those for you.

We also have Garmin/Wahoo mounts available, as well as helmets, locks and handlebar phone-mounts.

If you wish to reserve a road bike, please send us an email with your full name, the date(s) of the rental, the height in cm of each rider, the pedals required and a contact telephone number. ( Reservations only taken for full day rentals)

Winter doesn’t mean the cycling has to stop! Our bikes are available to rent throughout the colder months, allowing you to experience the peaceful beauty of the Interlaken valley in winter. Snow-capped peaks, quiet roads and crystal-clear lakes make this one of the most magical times of year to ride.

We’ll happily recommend the best routes based on the current conditions. We also provide insulated cycling gloves and beanies to help keep you warm on those crisp winter rides.

Yellow Velo is awesome

Yellow Velo is awesome. We rented 4 bikes and following Tommy’s recommendation we rode the Lake Brienz loop. Simply incredible. The bikes were great, in good condition and easy to ride. The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful with their recommendations. If you are into vintage bikes, also, spend time in the shop. They have some really cool bikes from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. When back in this area, we will definitely e back and will tell others.

Yellow Velo has equipment in perfect condition.

Yellow Velo has equipment in perfect condition. There is no reason to rent from another shop that has older equipment. The staff is very friendly and the owner Tommy is very knowledgeable and super helpful! We were a group of 7 and all had a great experience.
